Dr. Daniel Robert Manrique is a distinguished U.S. Army combat veteran, retired military officer, author, educator, and international human rights advocate whose career reflects more than three decades of leadership in national security, international cooperation, emergency management, humanitarian assistance, immigration advocacy, and public service. Throughout his military career, he served in key command and staff positions, participated in multiple combat deployments to Iraq, supported international nuclear threat reduction initiatives in the Russian Federation, and contributed to emergency preparedness and disaster response programs across Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.

A graduate of the United States National Defense University, Dr. Manrique has completed advanced military education in leadership, joint operations, operational planning, and national security strategy. His multidisciplinary academic background includes advanced degrees in law, business, education, and science, including a Ph.D., Juris Doctor, and multiple master's degrees. As an accomplished author, he has published Yes, I Can and The Failure of Communism, works emphasizing leadership, resilience, civic responsibility, and public service.

Dr. Manrique is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DRM Human Rights Defense, Inc., a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing human rights, providing immigration information and assistance, promoting legal education, supporting humanitarian relief, and strengthening community resilience through outreach and professional training. His distinguished service has earned numerous honors, including the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart, induction into the Purple Heart Honor Roll, the Key to the City of Columbus, Georgia, and appointment as a Kentucky Colonel.
